It's been almost three months since I had my baby and I never had the chance to make a cake. She takes lots of my time! Haha...but it's all worth it because I enjoy being with her even though sometimes she's grumpy. Anyway, I got a cake order last week for a baby shower and I thought, well, I think it's time for me to start making cakes again after my maternity leave. I quit my job last year and decided to be a stay at home mom because I don't want to put my baby into daycare. I want to see her grow up and I don't want to miss those milestones like her first giggle, smiles, cooing and so on. I'm still planning to go back to work when she's already three or when she starts going to school. Being a mom is the best job ever!

I got another cake order this week and it's for a little girl's birthday so it's gonna be a busy week for me!
Yes, being a Mom is the best job ever but being Grammie is the second best job! I LOVE it! Thank you for letting us be a big part of Athena's life and getting to keep her some time. She is so very special to us. Oh and the cake is so cute too!
