Wow! I'm in my 38 weeks now. I can't believe that I'm getting close to my due date. Two more weeks til I get to meet my little girl, well, if she decides to stay until my due date. I"m so ready to have her. This pregnancy feels like forever! It has been difficult for me this past few weeks because I'm having contractions lately although it wasn't that painful, it just uncomfortable. My back hurts and can't sleep at night. Oh my! The discomfort of pregnancy! Oh well, that's how it is. Despite of these discomforts, I will survive! Haha...This makes me appreciate my mother a lot more. Now I know what she went through when she was pregnant with me.
On my 37 week doctor's appointment last week, I was put into bed rest because I was swelling. My feet, legs and fingers were swollen and besides that, my blood pressure was high. Whoa!!! It scares that hell out of me. So doctor ordered me to be in bed rest. It wasn't fun, sounds boring. I'm not used to just lie down in bed and do nothing. Boo! Well, need to follow doctor's order. I'm just so lucky to have a wonderful husband who always puts up with me. He does the dishes everyday and do some household chores even though he is tired from work.
I had my appointment last Monday. My blood pressure was good but I lost weight in one week. Just a pound and a half in one week but my doctor doesn't seem concerned. So does that means I'm not in trouble?!Haha...I also had my non-stress test to monitor baby's heartbeat and evaluates baby's condition. I'm so happy that she's doing good. She's so active. She's already head down too.
