Eight months old

My little lady is eight months old! She can already crawl...forward. She can pull herself up and in a few months she might be walking. But she don't have teeth yet. She put everything in her mouth. One time I found her chewing something and when I checked her mouth, it was a small piece of twig. I quickly took it out from her mouth. I was so scared that she might choke. So everyday, I vacuum and check that the floor is clean and no twigs! Haha...

Daddy and baby photos

Last Sunday, I did a mini photoshoot of my two loves, my husband and our daughter. 

The weather was nice so we decided to go and have a photo session.

These are some of my favorites.

We had fun doing this photo session. My daughter was very cooperative. Haha...I had taken lots of pictures of her so that's why she's used to getting her picture taken. She was a little bit sleepy that time but she still managed to smile in front of the camera.

A little red wagon birthday fun

This Saturday we went to my friend Kelley's sweet little boy's first birthday party. It was a little red wagon birthday theme and I made his cake. It was a fun party and the decor was so cute. Owl birthday cake

I have two first birthday cake order this month and this is one of them. 

The owl on top is made of rice krispies and covered with fondant. I usually used gumpaste but this one is too big. This is the first time that I used rice krispies.

This week I will be making another cake for a first birthday.

Frog theme baby shower cake

I love making baby shower cakes. When I got this cake order I was really excited. 

This cake is for a mom-to-be whose having a baby boy.

The frog cake topper is made of gumpaste. 

I am a busy mommy because this month til month of October is already booked! My friends are even asking me on how I manage my time specially with a baby. Well, whenever my baby sleeps during the day that's when I do my baking and decorating. I am so glad that my baby is a good sleeper. Since she was two months old, she started to sleep through the night. She has her fussy moments but it's just the way it is, she's just being a baby. It's just amazing how you can do a lot of things when the baby is sleeping! Haha!
