  This is me with my little lady.   We always go for a walk whenever it's nice and warm outside.   She loves to be outside   We go to the park and she loves the swing.    She loves to walk and refuses to be held.    Everytime I hold her hands she will let go, she wants to go by herself.   I guess she thinks she's a big girl now. Ha!

Hi Everyone, it's Rea here! I am guest posting from homefor4sweethome.

I am a mother of two beautiful children, a 4-year old boy and a 2-yr old girl and a wife to one awesome husband.

- that's the "for 4" in my blog name - the Mr., the lil boy, the lil girl & the me.  

It makes me happy when I make something pretty and awesome out of nothing without spending a fortune! 

So today, I'm sharing my DIY: headband holder.

This used to look like this: (a peanut butter container)

Then wrap it up with fabric and wrapping paper.

And you'll have your very own headband holder, pretty easy huh!

Mad about Macarons

I have been thinking of making French macarons lately so I searched for a recipe and I found Martha Stewart's recipe is the easiest. I research and watch videos on how to make them as I know that French macarons are one of the difficult to make, well, for me as I am a novice baker.

I think it turned out good. It's just that my macarons aren't the same sizes but oh well, my husband devoured it and he said "it was so good!". My husband is my guinea pig. Haha!

I will make more attempt to make this little dainty cookies until I perfect it. Practice makes perfect....

Gender reveal cupcakes

This morning I delivered a dozen of cupcakes for a Grandma-to-be. Her daughter asked me to make a gender reveal cupcakes and it is a surprise. The catch is the daughter's doctor's appointment was this morning also and as soon as she found out the gender she will text me so I will know if it's a blue or pink frosting.

The Grandma has no idea that her daughter was planning a surprise gender reveal. What I did was I made the frosting this morning and just waited for the daughter's text if she's having a girl or a boy.

So when she texted me after her doctor's appointment that she's having a girl and I colored the frosting pink.

I delivered the cupcakes to where the Grandma works. I didn't get to see her as she was working but I bet she was surprised. I thought it was a very cute idea and I am so excited for the Grandma. I was so happy to be a part of making her day so special.
